ORMCO Insiders Meeting: Staying at the Forefront of Orthodontic Education
Dr. Bibona recently had the honor of attending the ORMCO Insiders Meeting, a highly selective gathering of orthodontists from across the country. These meetings bring together leaders in the field to collaborate on product development, share knowledge and advance clinical skills with one of the top orthodontic manufacturers in the world. This event is a cornerstone of orthodontic education, allowing participants to stay on the cutting edge of technology and patient care.
As a long-time member of this prestigious group, Dr. Bibona values the opportunity to stay at the forefront of orthodontic education. At the meeting, he gained insights into new technologies and techniques that will enhance the care we provide here at Richmond Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics. Even better, he was able to bring his wife along for this exciting experience!
Learning From the Best: A Visit to Stang Orthodontics in Reston, VA
Next, our team traveled to Reston, Virginia, to tour Dr. Stang’s office at Stang Orthodontics. We were warmly welcomed with a large breakfast, personalized signage and an incredible level of hospitality that made us feel like royalty.
During the tour, we had the chance to discuss a wealth of insider knowledge and innovative ideas for improving office efficiency and enhancing patient experience. This hands-on experience was a unique form of orthodontic education, showing us real-world applications that can directly benefit our patients. Every corner of their practice provided inspiration. We left the visit motivated and full of ideas for ways to make our office even better.
iOrtho Solutions Course: Combining Education with Fun
Our learning journey didn’t stop there! The team then traveled to Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, for the iOrtho Solutions course with Dr. Dan Bills. Over two days, we immersed ourselves in advanced orthodontic education while also enjoying some fun team activities, including Top Golf and a photo booth.
The iOrtho course offered a wealth of information, and it was a highlight for Dr. Bibona and our team. We were impressed by the welcoming and collaborative environment. Dr. Bills and the iOrtho team were generous with their knowledge, making the experience both highly educational and enjoyable.

Across all of these experiences, one theme stood out: the importance of thoughtful, patient-focused care and streamlined office operations.
