Dr. Sarah Yi is a passionate Pediatric Dentist serving Richmond, VA and the surrounding communities. Originally from Manassas, Virginia, Dr. Yi completed her Bachelor of Science with honors in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from VCU School of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top of her class and received awards for volunteer work, character and dedication. From there, she completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Dr. Yi is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, the Virginia Dental Association and ​​Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honor society.

As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Yi loves working and talking with kids every day! She feels that children have the most wholesome and often funny perspectives on life, and she enjoys learning each child’s interests to bond and better guide them through their dental visit. When she can connect with a child, make them laugh, and have them leave smiling, she feels it’s the most rewarding feeling.

When she’s not scrubbing away sugar bugs, Dr. Yi enjoys relaxing with her husband, Jon, and two awesome rescue pups, Clover and Daphney. She can also be found creating home goods, pottery and whimsical animal sculptures. Additionally, she enjoys home decorating, crafting and antiquing.
